Lahore Development Authority

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is responsible for new planned development in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This body also act as regulatory body for new construction or houses planning permissions are required for new housing projects, private houses and commercial developments in the city areas. It also manages parks and green areas of the city and any new urban areas.

The Lahore Development Authority was created under the LDA Act 1975 duly approved by Punjab Legislative Assembly. Previously it was Lahore Improvement Trust.
